We provide scholarships for post-elementary education from 5th through 12th grade.
In 1969, our 7 founding members pledged to support 15 students every year. This year our scholarship program has reached 2,260 students with a budget of $362,571

We identify TEF scholars in collaboration with five local organizations that are deeply committed to social progress. Having operated across Turkey for many decades, our partners are uniquely positioned to identify and address the student needs in the most effective ways.

Make a secure, online donation via Network for Good

You can make a one-time or recurring donation online, and indicate your special instructions for designations or dedications. Online donations are accepted via Network for Good . TEF is a tax-exempt Section 501(c)(3) organization under Internal Revenue Code. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Host a FacebookFundraiser and direct the proceeds to TEF at no cost to you.

TEF donors organize birthday fundraisers on Facebook; some offer to match collected donations. Facebook transfers 100% of the proceeds to TEF via Network For Good. To organize a FacebookFundraiser, please follow the instructions at this link. Please make sure to choose “Fundraise for a Non-Profit” and identify “Turkish Educational Foundation” as the benefiting charity.

Host a fee-based event and donate the proceeds to TEF.

TEF members organize cook outs, art sessions, concerts, hikes or walking tours in their city in order to bring their friends together to support TEF’s mission.
