The TEF Youth Social Impact Project was an international social entrepreneurship initiative designed to empower and support underprivileged youth in Turkey, including the earthquake-affected regions. The program, which ran from July of 2024 to May 2025, provided mentorship to student teams as they conceptualized and developed impactful social initiatives.

Through a collaborative mentorship model, students in Turkey were guided by TEF volunteers from the Bay Area to create meaningful projects that addressed local needs. These student-led initiatives covered a range of critical issues, including anti-bullying campaigns, earthquake preparedness awareness, plastic waste reduction, and animal shelter support. The program included both an initial in-person workshop in Turkey and ongoing virtual meetings that facilitated the development and execution of these projects.
